Texas families can now use state money for private school tuition and other education costs
What it does
SB 2 creates education savings accounts funded by the state. Families who leave the public school system can apply for an account and spend the money on private school tuition, tutoring, therapy, and approved learning materials. The Texas Comptroller runs the program and decides who qualifies when there are more applicants than spots.
